Genesis 5:1 Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born. Obviously, it wasn’t only after Seth was born that he had more sons and daughters, but before also, for who would have Cain married?
Notes: The mention of the sons born was to show the Godly line to Noah, not the fact that the sons mentioned were their first born or only born child. There were children born before and after the sons mentioned.
Genesis 5:22 Enoch walked with God. Others from Seth’s Godly line walked with the Lord also, but Enoch’s walk was commendable by God.
Genesis 5:24 ….he was not. Enoch’s walk with God was so intimate, that for whatever reason, Enoch did not see death, but the Lord took him straight to heaven. Here is a picture of the Rapture.
Notes: But whereas Cain’s line leads to a killer in the seventh generation, the comparable generation in Seth’s line produces Enoch who walked with God and did not die.
Genesis 5:29 Lamech prophesied that Noah (which means "rest") would deliver them from the painful toil of working the soil. This means that after the flood, with the change in the earth’s atmosphere (God’s wrath satisfied) improved the soil for Noah’s generation.
Genesis 8:21 And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
